Zusammenfassung

Im Wettlauf um Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) hinkt die EU hinterher. Für das Training von maschinellen Lernmodellen ist eine große Verfügbarkeit von Daten erforderlich. Die Erhebung und Bereitstellung solcher Daten ist jedoch kostspielig. Dateninhaber zögern daher, Daten ohne Anreize weiterzugeben. Einige Unternehmen teilen bereits Daten, und dieser Trend dürfte sich verstärken. Dennoch teilen sie nur einen kleinen Teil ihrer Daten. Es gibt rechtliche, administrative und technologische Hindernisse für den Datenaustausch zwischen Unternehmen (B2B). In diesem Buch wird analysiert, ob der derzeitige Rechtsrahmen der EU genutzt werden kann, um diese Hindernisse zu beseitigen und somit die Weiterentwicklung von KI zu ermöglichen.
