Zusammenfassung

Dieses Werk untersucht die Vereinbarkeit von Exportabgaben auf Rohstoffe mit dem Welthandelsrecht. Nach Erläuterung des Begriffs der Exportabgaben und der damit verbundenen Auswirkungen auf den Rohstoffhandel, wird zunächst der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit Exportabgaben durch das WTO-Recht, aber auch die unterschiedlichen Handelsabkommen der EU erfasst werden. Im Anschluss daran wird eine Anwendung des Antidumping- und Antisubventionsrechts gegenüber dem Einsatz von Exportabgaben detailliert geprüft. Außerdem werden bestehende Spannungslagen innerhalb des Welthandelsrechts herausgearbeitet und Reformüberlegungen angestellt. Dadurch richtet sich das Buch nicht nur an die Wissenschaft, sondern auch die Politik und Industrie.
