Summary

This volume explores the concepts of paradise in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It reveals how they are portrayed as alternative and aesthetically significant realms compared to the current realities, what role they play in present-day culture and political ideals and how they can be utilized for political gain. Authors from the fields of theology, religious studies, law, philosophy, and art history present a wide range of representative topics from this vast field of research in the area of interreligious discourse. The work concludes with the presentation of interesting platforms for interreligious dialogue in the past and present.
