The interplay of work and gender has been of special interest within the science of work for many years. Current topics are constantly emerging at the interface, which have been little researched so far. In this volume, the focus is on issues from the following areas: (1) Menstruation-related work disability - a discourse analysis; (2) Women in organizational leadership under Covid 19; (3) The reconciliation of family, work, and volunteerism; (4) Are women happier in early retirement?; (5) Weight discrimination in private and professional life.
