Summary
This Special Issue of Voluntaris stems from collaboration between researchers and practitioners convened by the Centre for European Volunteering (CEV) and co-financed by the EU Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values fund. It maps volunteering research in Europe through core topics such as motivation, infrastructure, law, impact measurement and politics. Each article discusses theories, several country perspectives, European trends and a synthesis, linking national specifics with shared developments for future practice, research and policy.
