Summary
Die oftmals kritisierte Subventionierung der deutschen Flughafeninfrastruktur und damit einhergehende Überkapazitäten werden in diesem Buch mit der Theorie des Marktversagens analysiert. Es wird argumentiert, dass zwar der öffentliche Einfluss bei der Bereitstellung der Infrastruktur unter bestimmten Annahmen zu rechtfertigen ist, insbesondere aber vertikale Finanzmittelzuweisungen für die regionalen Überkapazitäten verantwortlich sind und unterbunden werden sollten.
