Summary

How should editorial offices and journalists adapt to a changing media landscape? And what does that mean for their journalistic self-image? Although more and more media companies have adopted constructive journalism, it has yet to become widespread. To find out why, the author turns her attention to journalists. The result: For journalists, constructive reporting means a fundamental change in their journalistic attitude and habits. It is a new form of reporting with new perspectives and a focus on the audience, which can succeed with the right editorial incentives. This title is also available as open access.
