Zusammenfassung

Die Zusammenarbeit der Vereinten Nationen mit der Wirtschaft wird zunehmend intensiviert und die Frage nach dem Einfluss der Wirtschaftsakteure wird kontrovers diskutiert. Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit der Regulierung des Einflusses des Unternehmenssektors auf die Vereinten Nationen, wobei vor allem das Rahmenwerk der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) für die Zusammenarbeit mit nichtstaatlichen Akteuren (FENSA) umfassend und kritisch analysiert wird. Es wird untersucht, auf welche Weise die Vereinten Nationen und ihre Sonderorganisationen mit den bislang verabschiedeten Regelwerken versuchen einen Ausgleich zwischen der Förderung von Kooperationen mit der Wirtschaft und dem Schutz vor unangemessener Einflussnahme zu schaffen.
