Zusammenfassung

Dieses Buch befasst sich mit öffentlichen Investitionsversicherungen gegen politische Risiken und bietet rechtsvergleichende Analysen der öffentlichen Systeme der MIGA, Deutschlands und 7 weiterer EU-Mitgliedstaaten. Trotz der teilweise ausschließlichen Zuständigkeit der EU in diesem Bereich betreiben die Mitgliedstaaten weiterhin ihre nationalen Versicherungssysteme. Da die EU ihre Zuständigkeit schnellstmöglich wahrnehmen sollten, werden in diesem Buch die Möglichkeiten erörtert und eine Lösung vorgeschlagen. In diesem Sinne ist der Vorschlag der Autorin für eine EU-Richtlinie zur Harmonisierung der wichtigsten Bestimmungen über öffentliche Investitionsversicherungen gegen politische Risiken für Auslandsdirektinvestitionen in Drittländern dem Buch angehängt.
