Zusammenfassung

Legitimität ist die Grundlage jeglicher Autoritätsausübung. In der Rechtswissenschaft wurde der Legitimität jedoch bislang relativ wenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Dieses Buch untersucht den Legitimitätsdiskurs auf interdisziplinäre und vergleichende Weise, um zeitgenössische Legitimitätsverständnisse und ihr Potenzial für die Rechtswissenschaften freizulegen. Daraus ergibt sich ein theoretischer Rahmen für die Behandlung aktueller rechtswissenschaftlicher Probleme auf nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Ebene.
