Zusammenfassung

Wie können KI-gestützte biometrische Fernidentifikationssysteme rechtssicher eingesetzt werden? Die Arbeit bietet Leser:innen eine strukturierte Orientierung im Spannungsfeld zwischen KI-VO und DSGVO und zeigt, wie sich beide Regime zu einem kohärenten Prüfungsmaßstab verbinden lassen. Auf Grundlage einer rechtsdogmatischen Analyse werden Risiken biometrischer Datenverarbeitung, zentrale Begriffe sowie Pflichten für Anbieter von KI-Systemen herausgearbeitet.
