Zusammenfassung

Prekäre Arbeitsverhältnisse breiten sich unter Hochqualifizierten aus. Im chilenischen öffentlichen Dienst sind viele HochschulabsolventInnen, die honorarios, befristet angestellt. Die Autorin geht der Frage nach, was objektiv und subjektiv aus diesem Sonderstatus der Nichtanerkennung ihres faktisch abhängigen Beschäftigungsverhältnisses folgt, ob sich auf dieser Basis Gemeinsamkeiten in den Erfahrungen und im Selbstverständnis ergeben, die Ausgangspunkt für eine bewusste Haltung als kollektiver Akteur bilden. Ihre Antworten orientieren sich an der Anerkennungstheorie von Honneth und Paugams Strategien im Umgang mit Prekarität. Auf diese Weise bereichert Torres die Erkenntnisse über mögliche Identitätskonstruktionen unter prekär Beschäftigten.
