Zusammenfassung

Der Sammelband vereint eine Reihe von Fallstudien, die sich mit geschlechtsspezifischen Landrechten angesichts der Kommodifizierung von Landbesitz und des sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Wandels befassen. Die Fallstudien aus Ghana, Äthiopien, Madagaskar und Südafrika unterstreichen die Komplexität von Landrechten und untersuchen, wie Frauen ihre Rechte und Pflichten in unterschiedlichen lokalen Kontexten aushandeln. Die Artikel fügen der Diskussion über Landbesitz und Landvermarktung eine intersektionale Perspektive hinzu, indem sie zeigen, dass Frauen aufgrund anderer Differenzkategorien wie Alter, Familienstand, Klasse, „race“, Migrationshintergrund, Körper und ethnischer Zugehörigkeit etc. unterschiedlich betroffen sind.
