Zusammenfassung

Der Autor bewertet in diesem Buch die Auswirkungen von Worker Takeovers – der Rückeroberung von Arbeitsplätzen durch Arbeitnehmer:innen – auf die Machtressourcen der Gewerkschaften. Unter Berücksichtigung der Erfahrungen von drei Gewerkschaften werden die Voraussetzungen für den Erfolg und die Bedingungen ermittelt, unter denen die Entwicklung der Arbeitnehmerbeteiligung am Unternehmen die organisierte Arbeit insgesamt stärkt. Es werden auch Case Studies aus Großbritannien, den USA und Brasilien herangezogen.
