Offa
Berichte und Mitteilungen zur ArchäologieOffa is named after a legendary king of the Anglo-Saxons reigning over part of Schleswig-Holstein, who was praised for his braveness and wisdom. The early volumes of Offa, which started in 1936, mainly published articles on local Archaeology, but already showing a wide chronological range from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. Archaeology being a trans-regional science, in the course of time numerous scholars from Scandinavia, Western, Central and Eastern Europe presented their results of research.
Today Offa is a renowned international archaeological periodical. Before publication all contributions are peer-reviewed. The articles are published in German or English, with a short summary in both languages. For further information please go to www.offa.nomos.de.

psychosozialDie Zeitschrift psychosozial beschäftigt sich mit gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Erfahrungen und deren Zusammenhang mit psychischen Entwicklungen und Dynamiken. Die Zeitschrift fördert den Dialog zwischen den Sozialwissenschaften, den Kulturwissenschaften, der Psychologie und der Psychoanalyse und bietet Raum für Beiträge zur qualitativen, quantitativen sowie theoretisch-konzeptionellen Forschung.
Die 1978 gegründete Zeitschrift erschien zunächst im Rowohlt Verlag, ab 1986 im Beltz Verlag. Seit 1993 erscheint sie im Psychosozial-Verlag mit vier Themenheften pro Jahr. Im Jahr 2014 hat sich die Zeitschrift psychosozial mit der Zeitschrift Psychotherapie und Sozialwissenschaft zusammengeschlossen.
Jedes der Hefte bietet neben den Schwerpunktthemen auch Raum für freie Beiträge und Rezensionen. Alle Beiträge sind peer-reviewed.

S+F (Securit y and Peace) is the leading German journal for peace research and security policy. The journal aims to serve as a forum linking civil society and the armed forces in the areas of science and politics comprising of research analysis, insider reports and opinion pieces. Decisions on publication are made on the basis of the contribution made by a text to national and international discussions on peace and security issues; from scientific aspects of arms control, to questions of nation-building in post-war societies.
Every issue of S+F is focussed on a particular theme. In addition to contributions devoted to the central theme, texts addressing general aspects of peace and security research are also published. Contributors can choose whether to have the text evaluated by the editorial team or by way of an external evaluation process (double-blind peer-review).
Articles of the journal S+F are entered in various national and international bibliographic databases. In order to provide space for subjects of this nature, one issue of each volume focuses on one specific subject. An international advisory board supports the study of current topics in a worldwide philosophical discourse. Soziale Arbeit, founded in 1951, is an independent academic journal which addresses developments in the context of social work. It is one of the most important publication media in its field and is read by teachers, students and researchers in social work and social pedagogy as well as by professionals and managers from associations and institutions.
The journal’s aim is to promote professional development in social work fields by presenting methods and new concepts, in addition to subject-specific practical reports. In the ‘Rundschau’ (Review) section, information from all social fields is compiled. The ‘Tagungskalender’ (Conference Calendar) refers to important events, and the ‘Zeitschriftenbibliographie’ (Bibliography of Journals) lists current articles from professional journals.
Soziale Arbeit is published 11 times a year with an annual focus issue published as a double issue. All scholarly articles submitted for publication in the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process. The editorial board is supported in an advisory capacity by a professional advisory board consisting of individuals from associations, universities, politics and administrative bodies. The journal cooperates with the academic societies of social work from Germany (DGSA) and Austria (OGSA). All social work contributions are indexed in the literature database DZI SoLit.

VRÜ Verfassung und Recht in Übersee
WCL World Comparative Law"World Comparative Law / VRU" analyses developments in constitutional and public law in states and regions outside Europe and North America (in what used be called the ‘Third World’) as well as their regional and international integration. Founded in 1968 and inspired by the ideals of ‘decolonization’ and fair cooperation, the Journal also has a special interest in the entanglements between ‘Global South’ and ‘Global North’, including the presence of the ‘South in the North’. Looking beyond the surface of globalization, ‘World Comparative Law / VRU’ promotes scholarship that uncovers the particularities of legal configurations as well as their interdependencies in an interconnected world.
The journal seeks to publish theoretically and historically informed studies of law in context, but is equally open to contributions from social sciences and from practitioners. It has a particular interest in analyses that compare several legal orders but is equally attentive to studies in international law and its impact on Asia, Africa and Latin America as well as comparative international law.
“World Comparative Law / VRU" addresses authors and readers on all world regions and aims to serve as a forum of mutual exchange. It publishes research articles, shorter reports about current events or conferences as well as book reviews.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review. The journal is published quarterly and welcomes contributions in English, and exceptionally in German, Spanish and French.
