Summary

“Anthropos” – the International Review of Anthropology and Linguistics, has been edited by Anthropos Institute (since 1962 in Sankt Augustin) since 1906 and (in recent years) published biannually. Originally relying on ethnographic contributions of Roman Catholic missionaries, the review evolved and today it is one of the most important anthropological reviews worldwide. It publishes articles on cultural as well as linguistic subjects in several languages, focusing on Cultural Anthropology, (Post-)Colonial Studies, Study of Religion and Linguistics.
