Summary

Die Zeitschrift psychosozial beschäftigt sich mit gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Erfahrungen und deren Zusammenhang mit psychischen Entwicklungen und Dynamiken. Die Zeitschrift fördert den Dialog zwischen den Sozialwissenschaften, den Kulturwissenschaften, der Psychologie und der Psychoanalyse und bietet Raum für Beiträge zur qualitativen, quantitativen sowie theoretisch-konzeptionellen Forschung.

Die 1978 gegründete Zeitschrift erschien zunächst im Rowohlt Verlag, ab 1986 im Beltz Verlag. Seit 1993 erscheint sie im Psychosozial-Verlag mit vier Themenheften pro Jahr. Im Jahr 2014 hat sich die Zeitschrift psychosozial mit der Zeitschrift Psychotherapie und Sozialwissenschaft zusammengeschlossen.

Jedes der Hefte bietet neben den Schwerpunktthemen auch Raum für freie Beiträge und Rezensionen. Alle Beiträge sind peer-reviewed.
