Summary
Die Bedeutung des Völkerstrafprozessrechts für die justizielle Bewältigung der internationalen Kernverbrechen kann nicht überschätzt werden. Diese Arbeit leistet einen Beitrag zur wissenschaftlichen Bewältigung eines Teiles dieses Rechtsgebiets: Der Autor geht von einer rechtsvergleichenden Analyse der richterlichen Entscheidungsbefugnisse im strafprozessualen Vor- und Zwischenverfahren in den Ländern Frankreich, Deutschland und England aus und vergleicht seine Ergebnisse mit den Befugnissen der Vorverfahrenskammern des Internationalen Strafgerichtshofs.
Die Studie untersucht dabei Besonderheiten des Völkerstrafprozessrechts ebenso wie die Gründe für Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der in Bezug gesetzten Rechtsordnungen aus einer wahrhaft internationalen Perspektive.
