Health and movement are central topics in early childhood education. This textbook provides introductions to concepts and areas of activity and provides practically oriented tips: it presents diverse correlations between movement and health in early childhood, and also discusses the health of specialists working in early childhood educational institutions. The foundations and areas of activity of promoting movement in daycare centers and the connections between the promotion of language-learning and movement are also sketched out.
