Summary

With a database of more than 5.000 students, this book makes a significant contribution to the empiric characterization of students of public administration. The resulting insights facilitate a clearer understanding of the wishes und requirements of today’s students. The analysis is performed employing descriptive and inferential statistics for all study programs. Subsequently, thematic focuses are treated, and underlying structures are identified using factor und cluster analysis. The findings are of great interest to researchers and practitioners in the fields of social sciences, sociology and business administration.
