Summary

The volume discusses world and truth as basic concepts of philosophy from an intercultural perspective and in memory of Arno Baruzzi. The essays are both historical and topical, comparative and in-depth. Different perspectives on the understanding of the world, from the Indian and Japanese to the European tradition of thought, are considered in their various forms of expression, up to the formal ontologies of current AI models and big data theories, the development of thinking and illusion machines. The volume contains twelve contributions by authors from five countries: Croatia, Germany, Japan, South Korea and Spain.
