Digitale Lernwerkstatt für Seniorinnen und Senioren

Summary
The digital learning workshop (DLW) is a place of learning for people aged 70 and over to promote their digital media skills and media use. Social participation also requires digital participation – and it is precisely these people who have some catching up to do. The DLW enables active, exploratory, self-directed, experiential and practice-oriented learning in this context and takes into account the specific aspects of learning in old age. The conceptual background of the DLW, its structure and process, its successful testing and evaluation in the DigiKomS research project are described.
