Zusammenfassung
Der Sammelband untersucht die Entwicklung der beiden sich überschneidenden Epidemien HIV/AIDS und Hepatitis C in Zentralasien und China vor dem Hintergrund der Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung der Vereinten Nationen. Beide Epidemien haben erhebliche Auswirkungen auf die öffentliche Gesundheit und betreffen insbesondere Drogenkonsumierende. Zur Eindämmung der Epidemien ist es daher unerlässlich, Präventionsprogramme für vulnerable Gruppen zu entwickeln und der Stigmatisierung und gesellschaftlichen Marginalisierung entgegenzuwirken.
