Zusammenfassung
Der Sammelband beleuchtet die oft unsichtbaren Lebensrealitäten von Frauen in Zentralasien, die Drogen konsumieren oder mit HIV leben. Diese Lebensrealitäten und die sich daraus ergebenden Bedarfe werden allerdings sowohl in der Wissenschaft als auch in der praktischen Arbeit mit diesen Menschen oft nicht wahrgenommen oder ignoriert. Der Band ermittelt daher zunächst mithilfe von Interviews mit ebendiesen Frauen Herausforderungen und Bedarfe dieser Gruppe. Weiterhin werden notwendige Veränderungen bis hin zu einer besseren Unterstützung diskutiert und angestoßen.
