Summary
The book sheds light on the often invisible realities of women who use drugs or live with HIV in Central Asia. These realities and the resulting needs are frequently overlooked or ignored in both academic research and practical work with these individuals. Through interviews with the women themselves, the book first explores the challenges and needs of this group. Furthermore, various chapters discuss and initiate necessary changes toward better support. Overall, the book aims to make this previously invisible and ignored group more visible and recognized. With contributions byNazik Abylgazieva | Meryem Grabski | Galina Grebennikova | Oksana Ibragimova | Katarzyna Kinga Kowalczyk | Valentina Mankiyeva | Natalya Rakhalskaya | Oksana Rusnak | Aisuluu Shailoobek Kyzy | Larissa Steimle
