Zusammenfassung
Romantische parasoziale Interaktionen und Beziehungen sind aus dem Alltag vieler MediennutzerInnen nicht wegzudenken. Dennoch wurden sie bislang kaum untersucht. Dieses Buch begegnet dem Defizit, indem es sich zunächst mit der Definition und Entwicklung romantischer parasozialer Interaktionen und Beziehungen sowie deren Implikationen und Einflussfaktoren aus theoretischer Sicht auseinandersetzt. Im Anschluss werden drei empirische Studien zur ihrer Entwicklung und den Implikationen vorgestellt. Eine differenzierte Diskussion schließt das Buch. Somit erleichtert dieses Buch sowohl den Einstieg für Studierende als auch die fortgeschrittene wissenschaftliche Arbeit im Kontext romantischer parasozialer Phänomene.
