Zusammenfassung

In der Bildungsforschung stellt die Anwendung der sozialen Netzwerkanalyse ein Forschungsdesiderat dar. Das Netzwerkparadigma bietet durch seine Verbindung von Theorien und Methoden eine neuartige Perspektive, die im Rahmen dieser Arbeit eingenommen wird. Der Fokus dieses Buchs liegt auf der Untersuchung innerschulischer sozialer Beziehungen von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern, einem bislang wenig beforschten Gebiet. Wie setzen sich die Netzwerke zusammen? Welche Regelmäßigkeiten bestehen bei ihrer Formation? Lassen sich Effekte der unterschiedlichen Beziehungsstrukturen auf schulisches Handeln und Einstellungen feststellen?

Das vorliegende Werk stellt eine empirische Anwendung netzwerkanalytischer Bildungsforschung im Rahmen soziologischen Denkens dar. Gleichzeitig wird eine Einführung in das noch recht junge Paradigma geboten, bei der sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Elemente der sozialen Netzwerkanalyse an einem konkreten Anwendungsbeispiel diskutiert werden.
