Zusammenfassung

Der Aufbau des Sozialkreditsystems seit 2014 ist ein Versuch der chinesischen Regierung, ihr Regulierungssystem angesichts einer schwachen Justiz, grassierender Korruption und vielen Unternehmensskandalen zu stärken. Diese Studie untersucht damit verbundene Veränderungen im chinesischen Regulierungssystem aus der Perspektive des Unternehmens als Hauptadressat von Regulierung. Dokumentenanalyse und Interviews untersuchen Compliance-Praktiken von und die Auswirkungen des Sozialkreditsystems auf Firmen in China, mit Details zum Automobil- und dem Wertpapiersektor. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse sind für Wissenschaftler und Praktiker in Wirtschaft und Regulatorik von Nutzen und fördern das Verständnis von Chinas Wirkung auf die Global Governance.
