Zusammenfassung
Die Welt der internationalen Zusammenarbeit befindet sich im Wandel. Globale Machtverschiebungen und der Aufstieg des Populismus haben die Welt multipolarer, aber nicht unbedingt multilateraler gemacht. Das traditionelle Nord-Süd-Hilfssystem wird in Frage gestellt, während transnationale Herausforderungen alle Länder betreffen und stärkere globale Partnerschaften erfordern. In diesem Zusammenhang sticht die Graduierung von Ländern aus der öffentlichen Entwicklungshilfe (ODA) als ein Schwerpunktthema bei der Verknüpfung aktueller Debatten hervor.
Diese Publikation, die von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) herausgegeben wird, bietet Experten aus verschiedenen Sektoren und Regionen die Möglichkeit, ihre Ansichten in offenen Dialogen und Spotlight-Texten auszutauschen. Sie betten die ODA-Graduierung in ihren breiteren globalen Kontext ein, diskutieren ihre Implikationen und fordern eine neue Partnerschaft auf der Grundlage globaler Ziele und des Wissensaustauschs. Diese Sammlung von Gedanken und Perspektiven wird daher hoffentlich als Meilenstein in der Debatte über die Umgestaltung der internationalen Zusammenarbeit dienen.
