Dieses Buch behandelt folgende Fragen: Was wird in naher Zukunft mit der Ukraine geschehen? Wie stehen die Aussichten des Landes auf eine Integration in europäische Strukturen, und was würde eine Mitgliedschaft in der Europäischen Union für die weitere Entwicklung und Transformation bestehender, teilweise veralteter und überholter europäischer Strukturen bedeuten, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die europäische Sicherheit? Wie würde dieser Prozess die Ukraine selbst verändern, insbesondere im Hinblick auf chronische Probleme wie die endemische Korruption? Wie ist der Krieg Russlands gegen die Ukraine zu bewerten, insbesondere angesichts der imperialen Ambitionen Russlands? Wird ein Waffenstillstand oder Friedensabkommen etwas an diesen Ambitionen ändern?
