Securing Peace in Europe
The European Prospects of Ukraine- Editors:
- Series:
- Schriftenreihe des Arbeitskreises Europäische Integration e.V., Volume 110
- Publisher:
- 2026
Summary
This book addresses the following questions: What will happen to Ukraine in the near future? What are the country's prospects for integration into European structures, and what would Ukraine's membership in the European Union mean for the further development and transformation of existing, partly outdated and obsolete European structures, especially with regard to European security? How would this process change Ukraine itself, particularly in the context of chronic issues such as endemic corruption? How should Russia's war against Ukraine be assessed, especially in view of Russia's imperial ambitions? Would a ceasefire or peace agreement alter these ambitions?
