Zusammenfassung

Die Originalaufsätze in diesem Band setzen die 2021 begonnene kollektive Erforschung der Texte fort, die Pythagoras und den Pythagoräern in der hellenistischen und Kaiser-Zeit zugeschrieben wurden. Die Themen dieser weitgehend unerforschten Texte unbekannter Autoren reichen von der monistischen Ontotheologie und der Natur des Universums bis hin zu Recht, politischer Philosophie, Ethik, der richtigen Lebensweise und der Vereinigung der Menschen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Rolle der einflussreichsten dieser maßgeblichen Texte bei der Vorbereitung sowohl der neopythagoreischen Wiederbelebung des ersten Jh. v. Chr., insbesondere in Rom, als auch der neuen Entwicklungen in der platonischen Tradition, vom alexandrinischen Mittelplatonismus bis zum post-plotinischen Neuplatonismus.Mit Beiträgen vonJelle Abbenes | Omar D.
