Summary

The volume of Mergers & Acquisitions transactions is increasing. The reasons are manifold, the tendency is the same across all industries and independent of the company size. However, many transactions do not achieve the intended result. Time for an innovative approach in the decision relevant M&A sub-process Due Diligence. The challenges of the limited resources available for the process time and know-how are considered. The approach detaches itself from retrospectives and also reflects sustainability and future orientation. The result is a Due Diligence model that claims to increase the quality of the M&A decision making process. The book targets buy- and sell-side as well as external consultants.
