The coronavirus pandemic has left many people feeling very insecure. Nastasia Lehmann identifies partnerships as one coping strategy. In her quantitative empirical study, the author uses an online survey to investigate the importance of the security aspect in partnerships and partner searches and how individu-al insecurities can influence them. The survey of students, who are per se in an insecure or even precarious phase of life and were also particularly affected by the social and academic impact of the pandemic, provides valuable insights into the subjective experience of global crises.
