In her study, the author examines the emergence of loneliness among young students, analysing its significance for social work. The focus is on moving house as a critical life event. Based on a quantitative study of 98 students, the research demonstrates the effect of this transition on psychosocial well-being. The findings indicate an increased sense of loneliness, particularly during the initial period after moving, and suggest ways to provide needs-based support and integration measures.
