'New Music' is a form of embodying Enlightenment culture and is therefore active reason in the acoustic medium. René Thun demonstrates the validity of this musical-philosophical perspective, taking on a pragmatic media theory approach in terms of the history of ideas rather than a pure conceptually-deduced ontology.
