Antisemitism has undoubtedly returned to the public sphere. This book offers the first comparative analysis of the resurgence of antisemitism as an object of political mobilisation in liberal democracies — and how this relates to disinformation in a post-factual age. The book examines how the political and cultural opportunity structures for antisemitism have changed in democratic societies and why it is politically deployed today by various parties and movements, albeit sometimes in camouflaged forms. Lars Rensmann is a professor of political science and the author of numerous studies on antisemitism and the radical right.
