Summary
The first and most important step towards resolution between estranged relations of production is the awareness of the unity of body and soul. Matthias Mayer's study not only recalls the relevance of Schelling's philosophy of nature for neo-Marxist theorizing, especially in the works of Ernst Bloch, but moreover exposes its critical potential for analysis and solution to reificatory contemporary processes. That is to say, the crisis of capitalism in its post-modern stage: The »unconditional« of the early Romantic period is the antonym to »reification«.
