Zusammenfassung

The Seasonal and the Material verfolgt drei Ziele. Zu testen, welches neue Wissen generiert werden kann, wenn wir Wissenschaftler:innen, die in verschiedenen Regionen arbeiten und Spezialist:innen für verschiedene Epochen sind, durch ein übergreifendes Objektiv zusammenbringen. Zu sehen, was passiert, wenn Wissenschaftler:innen die Saisonalität als diese übergreifende Linse auf ihr ethnografisches und archäologisches Material anwenden. Und schließlich, die Perspektiven zu hinterfragen, wie wir menschliche und nicht-menschliche Wesen am besten durch die Linse der Zeitlichkeit und Saisonalität betrachten können. Die Beiträge aus verschiedenen Teilbereichen der Anthropologie wurden ursprünglich auf einer Sitzung bei den VANDA: Vienna Anthropology Days 2022 präsentiert, die von den Herausgebern in Wien organisiert wurde.Mit Beiträgen vonAugusto S.
