Zusammenfassung
Chinas Beteiligung an internationalen Missionen zur Konfliktlösung nimmt zu. Die Studie behandelt die Motive, Modi und Faktoren, die chinesische Außenpolitik dazu veranlassen, das traditionelle chinesische Nichteinmischungsprinzip flexibler zu handhaben und somit eine verändernde Rolle Chinas im internationalen System zu etablieren. Der entwickelte Forschungsansatz ermöglicht eine systematische Erfassung offizieller Interventionen Chinas in Konflikte in Afrika und dem Nahen Osten, um so komplexe Kausalbeziehungen aufzudecken. Zudem wird verdeutlicht, wie chinesische Prioritäten auf Ebene der Vereinten Nationen bereits Einzug gefunden haben und internationale Konfliktlösungsansätze verändern.
