Zusammenfassung

Die internationale polizeiliche Zusammenarbeit in Europa ist seit den Anfängen der Europäischen Union (EU) ein häufig diskutiertes Thema. Im 21. Jahrhundert haben sich die grenzüberschreitende organisierte Kriminalität und der internationale Terrorismus seit langem entwickelt und stellen eine ständige und heute sogar zunehmende Bedrohung für die innere Sicherheit der europäischen Mitgliedstaaten dar. Nur durch einen umfassenden Ansatz, der alle verfügbaren Ressourcen und Fachkenntnisse bündelt, kann die EU den vielfältigen und sich ständig weiterentwickelnden Bedrohungen durch den Terrorismus angemessen begegnen. Diese Publikation soll einen Beitrag zu dieser wichtigen Diskussion leisten, indem es Methoden zur Verbesserung der Synchronisierung und des Einsatzes multinationaler spezialisierter Anti-Terror-Einheiten untersucht.
