Zusammenfassung

Mobiles Musikhören ist für viele Menschen zu einem festen Bestandteil ihres Alltags geworden und begleitet sie bei verschiedenen Aktivitäten wie Pendeln oder Sport. Mia Kuch hat drei Studien zu dieser Höraktivität durchgeführt, um ihre Funktionen und Wirkungen quantitativ zu analysieren. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass mobiles Musikhören das subjektive Erleben der Hörer:innen auf vielfältige, auch unbeabsichtigte Weise verändern kann, von bloßer Ablenkung über Affektregulation bis hin zu multisensorischen Erfahrungen. Dies offenbart eine Vielfalt von Nutzungspraktiken und deutet auf unterschiedliche Wirkungsmechanismen hin, die das Zusammenspiel von Kontext, persönlichen Bedürfnissen und Musik beinhalten. Mia Kuch promovierte an der Hochschule für Musik Freiburg (Systematische Musikwissenschaft, Musikpsychologie).
