Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Band füllt wichtige Lücken in unserem Verständnis des Ständigen Internationalen Gerichtshofs (1920–1946). Er bringt eine Reihe von Autoren mit unterschiedlichem Hintergrund zusammen, um neue Perspektiven auf ein klassisches Thema zu bieten und bisherige Annahmen in ein neues Licht zu rücken - von Ideen über die Gestaltung des Gerichtshofs und die führenden Teilnehmer an seiner Gründung bis hin zur Rolle einzelner Richter bei der Entwicklung seiner Rechtsprechung und seiner beratenden Funktion.
