Zusammenfassung

Im Februar 2022 empörte sich die Welt über Russlands völkerrechtswidrigen Krieg gegen die Ukraine und solidarisierte sich mit der Ukraine. Doch was bedeutete diese Solidarität in der politischen Praxis? Wie reagierten zivilgesellschaftliche Akteure und Öffentlichkeit und beeinflussten die politischen Entscheidungsprozesse in verschiedenen Ländern Europas und anderen Weltteilen? In 15 Länderkapiteln verschiedener Autor:innen bietet dieser Band Einblicke in die Reaktionen, Wahrnehmungen und öffentlichen Debatten verschiedener sozialer und politischer Akteure und zeichnet dabei ein komplexes Bild von „umstrittener Solidarität“, das verständlich macht, warum die Ukraine selbst im vierten Kriegsjahr noch weit von einem gerechten Frieden entfernt ist.
