Zusammenfassung

Der Sammelband enthält achtzehn Beiträge zu einem breiten Spektrum der türkischen Philologie und Sprachwissenschaft, darunter vormoderne Sprachen wie Altuighurisch, Osmanisch-Türkisch und Mittelkiptschakisch sowie moderne Varietäten wie Türkisch, Uighurisch und Irantürkisch. Daneben gibt es Beiträge zur Wissenschaftsgeschichte und Lexikographie. Die Beitragenden sind Kollegen, Studenten und Freunde des 2024 verstorbenen niederländischen Turkologen Hendrik Boeschoten. Die Herausgeber wirken an der Hacettepe-Universität in Ankara. Emine Yılmaz ist Expertin in Altaistik, Tschuwaschisch und Alttürkisch. Hasan Güzel ist Soziolinguist und befasst sich mit Türksprachen im Iran. Emre Çetinkaya forscht zur Informationsstruktur in den Türksprachen.
