Pindaro e le teorie antiche sul paradigma

Summary
This book explores the role of myth in Pindar’s victory odes through a reassessment of ancient rhetorical theory, with particular attention to the concept of the paradigm. It argues that mythical narratives are not merely ornamental or illustrative, but provide a framework through which the ode develops praise and argument. Myth shapes the structure of the poem, guides its interpretation, and allows different audiences to engage with the same performance from different perspectives.
