The special feature of this dictionary is its German-Latin layout, which sets the
Vocabularius apart from the usual Latin-German dictionary structure of the time. It is also very probably the first printed dictionary with German lemmata. It is an important source for lexical studies and its alphabetical arrangement enables direct access to the German vocabulary.
