How can inclusive education at the museum be successful for students with a cognitive handicap – even beyond the education through texts and language? How can methods taken from the field of healing and special education contribute to the inclusive museum education for that target group? Based on research findings and reports on practical experience, the contributors introduce a wide range of sample projects with different educational approaches and offers. They show that the dialog between museums and special education experts is very important for any inclusive museum education.
