[»It’s done!« Or is it not? Attempts to answer objections to the fantasy of universal reconciliation] What you hope for determines how you live. The hoped-for future intrudes into your present life and shapes it decisively. The fantasy of »hell« weighs on many people like a sword of Damocles. They want to believe in a good end, but feel obliged by their pious conscience to postulate an eternal divorce. The present work changes the objections against all-reconciliation into arguments in its favor. After reading it, all religious neurosis-inducing fantasies of hell can be confidently dismissed. The doctrine of hell is not replaced by cultural Protestant relativism, but by a Christocentric, biblically based and hope-filled optimism that has the Risen Lord and his possibilities in mind.
