Franziska Stöhr's comprehensive study analyzes decisive exhibitions such as »Information« (MoMA, New York, 1970), »Prospect 71: Projection« (Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, 1971) and »documenta 5-10« (1972-1997), with examples of works from artists such as Bruce Nauman, Dennis Oppenheim, Paul Sharits or Bill Viola.
